1955 coupe, chassis 53547, delivered May 16, 1955 to Mahag in Munich, Germany.

-Original P22137 1300 type 506/2 motor has been replaced with newer, stronger 1600S type 616/2 P81765. Car cruises 70MPH with ease and holds a straight line.

-Original transmission 5909H1 has been replaced with newer, quieter No. 9171.

-Original Graphite Metallic 5403 with Beige Leatherette and Corduroy is now a very appealing blue

-silver metallic paint, red leatherette interior, short mohair camel headliner and tan German square weave carpet. Sun visors are included but have not been installed (for better visibility).

Vintage accessories:

· Firestone 5.00/5.25 x 16 wide whitewall bias-ply tires

· Vertical-button Telefunken radio (functions but tunes poorly in USA)

· NOS Rometsch Beeskow Petri steering wheel, NOS horn ring and NOS Petri "golden lady" horn button.

· AMCO Vent wings

Buyer has choice of five new 165SR15 Michelin XZX tires on repainted 15 inch steel wheels or five 5.00/5.25 x 16 wide whitewall bias-ply tires on 16 inch steel wheels (shown)

Gaps and paint are not perfect. Car has not been driven in bad weather. Car is neat and clean inside, underside and outside. New wire harness. All instrumentation restored. All electric circuits are functional. Windows roll up/down smoothly and close tightly.
