Porsche 356B T6 LHD
Hi, here is a project car for sale from a friend of mine
the car is in the US but transportation to France is included for 15.000
Euros
:
I didn’t find any rust in the longitudnals, just the floors
as you can see. The battery box needs repair also. The hood was kinked
and poorly repaired but it looks like a fairly easy repair to do it rigfht.
There’s a little rust spot on the left closing panel (see picture). I
have had the seat recliners, gear shift, 1 pair of the tail light rims,
front park lights/turn signals, 4 original hub caps and the bumper guards
replated. New parts are a complete rubber kit (plus a few things not in
the kit) from International Mercantile, new master cylinder, wheel cylinder
kits, link pin kit, king pin kit, brake hoses, 4 after market hub caps,
head light assemblies, muffler, j-pipes, horn grills, bumper deco, bumpers
(they look like new but have been painted white), 4 new tires and 2 front
park light lenses.
I don’t see any signs of collision damage except the
right rear quarter panel. It feels like a bubble dent on the inside of
the panel over the wheel. I think they didn’t try to fix it just filled
with Bondo. there is a little Bondo where the hole for the bumper bolt
goes through. There’s a couple of small rust holes in the bottom of the
doors. The paint looks like a 30 year old Macco job. The original color
was ivory. The grey spots are primer where the paint was peeling.
The engine is a Super #88984 it was running when I bought
the car and it sounded good to me. It has been sitting for 8 years all
parts and car inside garage.
