Porsche 356 C coupe 1964 LHD
This car is close to best concourse condition, has a
limpid history and comes with a certificate of authenticity, tool kit
and its original service books! Along with complete invoices file, user
manual, original keys, photos… The slate grey and red leatherette interior
is a smashing original combination. The interior has never been restored
or disassembled is still in an amazing A+ condition. Mechanically the
car was very well look after during all its life, the engine was rebuilt
prior to my purchase and I change the shock absorbers, bushings, tires
and service it (filters, fluids…) the car has done a little more than
120k miles in total.
Body wise the car had a few dings here and there (nothing
abnormal for a 40 years old car) but all panels are originals with matching
engraved nrs (the last two VIN digits) and I believe that doors have
never been removed. Of course all gaps are factory standards and there
is no rust.
I decide some month ago to go for a complete paint
job with original colour and paint type. the few dings were repaired
using lead as it should be (if you want a proper and long lasting job)
During it's life the car had never been restore or repaint before, so
there was no major work and of course the car has never been clipped
or wrecked.
About the optional equipments there is an original
Becker radio, coco mats, crested seat belts and a rare gas heater that
works!
Everything works on that car as when it left the factory
and even the clock (that was rebuilt by Palo Alto)
That car can be used everyday as it was design for,
some 40 years ago, it only need gas and regular service.
A rare occasion to know what driving a nearly "new"
356 is, nothing to do with driving a complete rebuilt car.
