1971 Porsche 914 Crayford Special RHD.

This 1.7 Litre 914 Crayford special has been garaged off of the road for over 20 years. It was originally taken off the road for a respray and cosmetically stripped for painting. It was fortunately never reassemble. I say fortunately because the car's shell is in remarkable condition in comparison to most UK driven 914's. It has missed out on over 20 years of road salt, rain etc. There are some small minor rust areas but from what I can see none of the major rust problems you would expect on a UK car. From what I can see the battery tray is in superb condition because the battery was taken out of the car over 20 years ago when the car was painted.

The car does need a respray some minor rust repairs and reassembly but all of the running gear is in place and it appears to be in good condition (although like most of the car very dusty)

All of the parts removed from the car for the respray are in boxes, all of the glass, bumpers, carpets, pedal boards, some new spares..

There is masses of history with this car and will make a very nice collectors 914 when its completed..
